Understanding analytics is a crucial part of the music business, and industry expert Pierre Bussieres shares their inside insight into Understanding Record Labels in the 21st Century for Artists workshop. More about Pierre Bussiers:


Pierre has been an active member of the Canadian music industry since graduating from the Music Administrative Studies program at Western University in 2012.


She has worked in a variety of areas in the arts including venue operations (Aeolian Hall, London, ON) and marketing (Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Toronto ON) before joining the Six Shooter team in 2015. As VP Finance, she currently oversees the bookkeeping, financial planning, and grant writing for all three Six Shooter affiliated companies: Six Shooter Records, Six Shooter Inc (management), and High Priestess Publishing.


As an avid Canadian music fan she is involved throughout the industry as a JUNO Judge (2021 & 2018), a member of CIMA’s Professional Development Committee (2019-present), a FACTOR Jury Member (2015-present) and previously as an Amplify BC Advisory Panel Member, a Vancouver Girls Rock Camp Volunteer, and a Steering Committee Member for the Jack Richardson Music Awards.
